Big News - Exmouth Expansion

Shoreline’s largest expansion this year has been to Exmouth in Western Australia via an invitation from the Minderoo Foundation. The expansion is made possible with funding from the Generation One and the Flourishing Oceans initiatives within Minderoo. The expansion will support between 5 and 10 students in trainee positions in 2022.

Exmouth TAFE has stepped up providing appropriate courses for the students and all job placements have been sourced. The expansion to Exmouth offers an exciting opportunity, as currently there are few Indigenous employees across the marine tourism industry which drives the local economy. Cairns had a similar profile five years ago and now Shoreline trainees and alumni form the backbone of many of the reef-based tourist businesses
