Joeys Sailing Day

Students from St Joseph’s College took up the chance to attend a day on the water with Shoreline and partners the Making Waves Foundation! 

This is a part of a quarterly program where a select group of Joeys boys attend a weekend sailing day, getting a chance to participate in different roles around the boat. Here they learn the fundamentals of teamwork, resilience, and optimism alongside the basics of sailing.

Shoreline are currently collaborating with Making Waves Foundation on cultivating a unique program that combines sailing with cultural education. This may then be implemented to boys across different year groups to help them gain a certificate of attainment and facilitate their cultural development.
