The 10th Annual Matthew Hayden Barramundi Challenge!

The 10th Annual Matthew Hayden Barramundi Challenge was held in the Tiwi Islands from November 21 - 23, 2019. The event is a major fundraiser for Shoreline

The 10th year has marked several milestones for the event, none bigger than the photo featured! Matthew has been chasing a big barramundi for a lifetime and finally improved on his personal best by 10 cm's, to a 94cm barramundi! .

The photo also pictures Anthony Lorenzo who is former graduate of Shoreline. Anthony was skipper of the vessel on this occasion, a proud moment for everyone.

Anthony is now a mentor for Shoreline and his outstanding knowledge and skills of the land and water ensure the opportunities for Tiwi youth to gain employment. This occasion marks Anthony's biggest barramundi landed in his short time as a fishing guide.
